Welcome to Class

STL BARKEEP'S COCKTAIL COLLEGE

Hands-on cocktail classes from the people behind STL Barkeep, The Vandy & Off Elm.

No experience, no textbooks. Just show up thirsty.

WELCOME TO CLASS

Whether you know your way around a mixing glass or you're still wondering why anyone would stir a drink instead of shaking it, we'll meet you where you are.

STL Barkeep's Cocktail College is about more than following recipes. We want you to understand why great cocktails work so you can make better drinks long after class is over.

You'll make the drinks yourself, learn the techniques behind them and — most importantly — drink your homework.

LEARN. SHAKE. STIR. DRINK.

The class delves into the origins, recipes, and flavor balances of the Manhattan and Martini, including a hands-on cocktail-making session. A vermouth tasting follows featuring a tasting of six styles to highlight how this fortified wine shapes classic cocktails. The final segment focuses on the Negroni, examining its Italian roots, bittersweet profile, and contemporary variations.
